Times MW Introducing The Next Generation of SilverLine TuffGrip®
The new TuffGrip®-CI (changeable interface) test cable, is the next generation of our patented SilverLine TuffGrip® armored phase stable test leads for use with Anritsu SiteMasterTM and other portable analyzers for cell site RF testing.
TuffGrip®-CI employs a Type N female interface which can be quickly converted to a Type N male, 7-16 male or 7-16 female interface simply by attaching one of the new, unique Times PTNTM interface mini-Grip adaptors. These robust RF adaptors are designed and built for long life and are capable of excellent VSWR performance to 18 GHz (6 GHz for 7-16 interface). Precision-made from stainless steel, each PTNTM interface mini-Grip adaptor is equipped with its own mini-TuffGrip, a flexible, rugged lanyard and also features the Times OneTurnTM fast mating system for fast on, fast off operation.
A TuffGrip®-CI test lead with mated interface is about the same length as a standard, fixed head TuffGrip® test lead and exhibits the same VSWR: 1.25:1 max DC- 6 GHz and 1.35:1 max DC-18 GHz. TuffGrip®-CI comes as a complete kit with either a 1.5, 3 or 5 meter test lead, the three Times PTNTM interface mini- Grip adaptors and one PTN female adaptor that allows the three changeable interfaces to be mated "back-to-back" for use as a separate precision, high performance adaptor. (Adaptor kits are also available individually.)

Model 3306-2 Two-Way Power Divider
Narda East have introduced Model 3306-2, a two-way power divider that handles up to 100 W CW from 6 to 18 GHz into a 1.5:1 VSWR and meets military requirements, making it an excellent choice for a wide array of aerospace and defense as well as commercial applications.
The Model 3306-2 is extremely compact considering its high RF power handling ability, measuring only 1.25 x 1.5 x 1.2 in. without connectors, which are Type-N female. It has insertion loss of less than 4.2 dB from 6 to 10 GHz and 4.5 dB from 10 to 18 GHz, isolation of at least 15 dB, and input and output VSWR of less than 1.8:1 at all ports. Amplitude balance is maintained to 0.5 dB or less and phase balance is maintained to 12 deg. or less. The power divider has an operating temperature range of -54o C to +85o C.
The Model 3306-2 power divider is available for immediate delivery.
New NBM probe EF0691 from Narda Safety Test Solutions
Measuring electric fields from 100 kHz to 6 GHz using instruments in the NBM-500 family.
- Field exposure from broadcasting, telecoms and industrial equipment
- Compliant with EN 50492 (base stations)
- Isotropic (non-directional) measurement
- 65 dB dynamic without changing range
- High sensitivity starting at 0.35 V/m
The probe contains three orthogonally arranged dipoles with detector diodes. The three voltages, corresponding to the spatial components, are available individually at the probe output. The NBM basic unit calculates the resulting isotropic field strength.
APPLICATIONS
The probe detects electric fields from 100 kHz to 6 GHz, covering the fields that occur in broadcasting, telecoms, and industry. The high sensitivity of 0.35 V/m and wide frequency range make it ideal for new WLAN applications. For measurements on mobile phone base stations the probe complies with the latest basic standard EN 50492 exceeding
its requirements.
PROPERTIES
The probe is designed with mechanical and electrical properties ideal for field use. The probe head is made of foam material to provide effective protection for the sensors, while having excellent RF characteristics.
